Mary Elizabeth Brand

     Mary began writing stories as soon as she could pick up a pen.  A former Marine Corps brat, she began her career as an actress in Connecticut where she performed in community theatre.  After receiving her degree in Theatre Arts in San Antonio, she continues to live there with her husband, John, (above) performing onstage as well as writing musical theatre under her stage name of Mary Bowlin-Brand.  She is a produced musical theatre playwright, lyricist and composer.  

     Mary Elizabeth Brand is a romance novelist who writes sensual paranormal romps. She loves to tell a good story that leaves you smiling as well as sighing.

Another Adventure

     Welcome!  Hope you like the site.  I'm not much of a computer whiz but I gave it my best shot.  Okay, I know.  Odd picture.  Why am I wearing devil horns?  A.) I have a weird sense of humor. B.) I write paranormal romance so why not? C.) The photo is from the musical I wrote and performed in.  Titled Life Is Hell! (No kidding-that's the title.  ) I played Lucy-fer.  And it was a blast playing opposite my husband, John, who made a great Mephistopheles.  Check out the Life Is Hell section to find out more!

     Today I'm working on my rock 'n' roll paranormal.  It's truly been a labor of love.  It's always so hard to let your characters go.  You get to know them so well they're like your children.  But I have a sneaking suspicion that, like certain kids I know, they will be back!
